WRRC decides on new rules

On the WRRC General Meeting, which took place on 10th and 11th of March, many new rules for international WRRC competitions were adopted. Among them are new regulations for the duration of music and dance for couples and formations, new age limits for dancers, and the introduction of the B-class as an international competition class.

Another important change in rules concerns the final rounds on WRRC competitions. On the one hand the order of the rounds is changed. Now the Short-Program introduces the finals, followed by the Footwork. The Acrobatics continue to be the final highlight, which will also be reflected in the results: Short Program, Footwork and Acrobatics will be weighted by the factors 1 : 1,5 : 2,5 in future contests.

More Information (only in german) can be found in the Zusammenfassung der WRRC-Beschlüsse (Abstract of the WRRC decisions) at the DRBV. The WRRC itself has not published any Information upto now.
